Jonah's room is still not done, but who knows when it ever will be, so I figured I'd post where we are so far! The dark blue wall was already there, so we just stuck with that theme...especially since that's the color for the Colts! We repainted the other walls a light khaki color. Jonah BEGGED...and I mean B.E.G.G.E.D. me for a Fathead for his room, but there was no way I was spending that kind of money! Finally, he decided to use some of his own birthday money and pay for half which, along with a coupon, made it much more reasonable! Bruce and I had a lot of fun putting it up....twice....because we originally had it on the other side of the bed, but it looked like Peyton was running into the closet! That thing is over 8 feet tall...and totally awesome I must say! There's a big double closet on the wall across from his dresser and the door is next to it, by the foot of his bed.
Jonah chose all the penants for over his window...Ravens, Bucs, Colts, Giants and Panthers
This part of the room is opposite the bed. His room is really big and along with a loft outside his room (that has a tv and Xbox) as well as a full bathroom, he's got his own man-cave going on up there! (The bedroom, bathroom and loft are the only things on the second level)
The little door under the window goes to a crawl space over the garage...yeah...it's creepy but we keep it locked.
And finally, because they're both just so darn cute, Jonah and his best furry buddy, Cooper! Notice how Jonah doesn't completely close his eyes when he's asleep? Bruce does the same thing and it FREAKS me out!

His room looks great! You did a great job. Funny, it looks like Cooper is waving at us!!
what a cute room for a boy. I like the pennants on the window and the puppy picture is adorable!
Love it! Yea for Peyton Manning!!! The pennants as a window treatment are a great idea. Jake has a Redskins room with a Clinton Portis FatHead. One day I'll have to post pics.
What a cool room for a boy to grow in!!
thanks for the comment! I forgot I hadnt answered about SoHo - it is Southern Hospitality and it is in Plant City. It has furniture on one side and then home decor and silk and dried flowers on the other. It is huge. Great for seasonal decorations!
That looks like any boy's dream room. I suspect even my husband would be quite happy if I were to suggest a football theme for OUR room. As a Baltimore resident, though, and with family that are still smarting from the Colts late night departure, there might be words about a Colts bedspread.
This looks great, but would be so much better if it was Romo and the Cowboys!
