I got in really early this morning from a four day visit to Maryland. Arrived on Thursday afternoon and got to see my friend, Jen's new house...A-MAZING!! Love the back yard, lusting after her kitchen and hardwood floors...and the storage! Stayed the first night in my old 'hood with Karen and had a blast with some girlfriends at the neighborhood coffee shop the next morning! This probably wasn't the best month for me to choose to visit...October is my favorite month in MD! Chilly in the morning, warm in the afternoon and the trees in all their colorful glory! Also got to walk around the neighborhood and visit with a few other friends and then have lunch with Adrienne and Colllin before Jen picked me up to head to our women's retreat in Virginia. Spent three inspiring, uplifting and fun days with some amazing and hilarious women! I finally got to meet my friend, Kathi, a fellow blogger at Tales from the Homefront! She lives in MD and actually attends the same church that I went to when I lived there, though we had never met...it was so cool to meet in real life! She's just as nice ...and adorable!...as she is online! Jen and I roomed with Julie and Beth (who I can't believe I didn't get a picture of!)...we had so much fun with each other and the very cool ladies in our small group!
I'm so glad I went but it went by way too fast! Seemed like old times hanging with my best buddy, Jen and I hated to say goodbye....Karen and Trish

Sounds like a great trip! Maryland is great this time of year, although kind of tough to dress for. You need a jacket in the morning and at night but you're down to a t-shirt mid-day.
So bummed I never got to run up to see you on friday. Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. Miss you !
