Junior

It's really bad when your kids start naming the millions of geckos scurrying around your yard! This little guy, who they've named Junior for obvious reasons, is shedding and the kids are convinced that they see him...the exact same one...in all different parts of our yard. Yeah...him and his 8 trillion brothers and sisters! The day we moved in, Evan caught one and it nipped his finger ,so he hasn't been so anxious to catch them, but I think he's forgotten and now he's back to critter-catching. Isabella prefers to wear her geckos!

Evan has always loved critters! His stitches come out tomorrow ...and you know there will be a blog post to follow!

Jonah is so funny...he talks to the geckos!

Ik! We have lizards around here everywhere and I am not a fan- one once got in the house and I stodd on the counter and cried uncontrolably until my husband removed the nimble little bugger!

The musical I was in was a little known one called "Carnival". Thanks for commenting- it's good to meet you and 7 kids- wow!

Lizards? like in bigger than geckos? the one in those pics is really little but normally they're a couple of inches long...which I can handle...don't get me started on snakes though!
and hey FOUR kids (esp when one is 13...the age from hell) is pretty amazing!

the doctor (and the paper they gave us at discharge) said five days...did your kids have them longer?

Wow! They're everywhere.

You'll laugh to know that we actually bought a gekko for $50. Can you believe it??? That's how much they were at PetSmart....and that was a bargain compared to $80 at the pet store at the mall!!! He's been alive for 2 years now....I can't believe it.

Online Gekko store, perhaps???? You could be a millionaire!

When we lived in Hawaii they were all over the walls in our house and never bothered me...Now I think I would freak laying in bed looking at them...

kathi, I'll stash a few in my carryon when I come up in october! and debbie, I visited my sister when she lived in Panama and we spent a few days at a beach house, that had them everywhere inside! I just kept my eyes shut very tightly at night so I wouldn't see them on the ceiling!
